Captain Satellite, in his not-so-secret identity as Christopher Elam, founded the fanzine OWARI in 1995 as a vehicle for his offbeat interests. OWARI joined the world wide web in 2001 and made its first foray into the land of LiveJournal in 2003. As times have changed, the fanzine has been phased out, but OWARI still remains.
OWARI began its existence discussing Japanese monster movies. While that topic still comes up, you will find this journal discusses whatever strikes my fancy on a particular day.
